Beacon Yoga and Mindfulness was set up in 2023 by Rebecca Connolly. Rebecca teaches yoga, mindfulness and compassion. She teaches all ages but is particularly passionate about introducing the skills of yoga and mindfulness to children and young people in order to equip them with healthy habits which can help them navigate life's inevitable ups and downs.

Rebecca trained as a mindfulness and compassion teacher in 2020 and as a yoga teacher in 2022. She completed additional training in children's yoga and mindfulness in 2023. 


Rebecca brings creativity and playfulness to all of her classes and programmes, encouraging her students to find joy and ease in movement and peace and balance in their bodies and minds. 

When she's not teaching, Rebecca will most likely be found walking along the North East coastline with her dog.
